Duties

Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial driving equipment with manual transmissions. Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques to ensure secure handling of all items. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while adhering to safety regulations. Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction. Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments against manifests and obtaining necessary signatures upon receipt. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports to ensure compliance with company policies. Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock organization, and moving supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving familiarity. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable. Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, moving items, or warehouse work. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Excellent navigation skills for route planning and adherence to schedules. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
