Job Description

Overview: The Delivery Driver will coordinate and deliver products and receive signature receipt confirmations in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner. No weekends or holidays! This is a full-time position based in Florence, SC (360 North Irby Street) and the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.


About the Role:

• Deliver medications to physician\xe2\x80\x99s office, medical clinic, patient\'s residence, or other designated delivery location
• Place and receive delivery orders over the phone
• Handle interdepartmental transportation of supplies
• Load and off-load delivery packages from vehicle
• Follow route and time schedules
• Collect payments when needed
• Ensure address and contents match the delivery manifest
• Request signature upon arrival, complete delivery logs, and return delivery logs in a timely manner
• Abide by all state and local driving regulations as described by the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Transportation
• Possess and maintain a good driving record
• Perform additional related duties as assigned

About You:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid SC Driver\'s License
• Must possess and maintain a good driving record as validated by Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Previous delivery driver and/or customer service experience preferred
• Must be comfortable driving in all kinds of weather and outdoor lighting conditions
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights
• Ability to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and flexible, have excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer service
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to and from our Florence, SC pharmacy on a regular daily basis
• Able to work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and occasionally a little later than 5pm
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and if hired, must provide proof of vaccination
