Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and the ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and loading/unloading cargo.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Previous experience in courier services, moving, or warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required; training may be provided. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime on busy days.
