Delivery Driver :

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

The Delivery Driver will need to take larger orders to stores and wholesalers in a 24-26ft box truck. For this, we are asking for applicants to have their DOT Certification.

Minimum 40 hours per week, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Start time at 8:00am Monday - Friday. Occasional earlier start time possible.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers in a safe, timely manner. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Obtaining payments from customers. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules (WorkWave) Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. Be aware and comprehend all FDA guidelines pertaining to Tobacco products. Must adhere to all regulations. Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21. Must have DOT Certification. Must be willing to obtain forklift certification if not already acquired (company paid). Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be willing to travel 100% of the time. Some weeks are OTR (1-2 nights or the whole week) Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. CDL preferred. Willingness to get CDL is a plus. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods. Attention to detail. Completion of background investigation and drug screening. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects consistently weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
