General Description

: D & K Products is a wholesale supplier of turf care products with 5 warehouse locations around the Midwest, currently celebrating its 45th year in business. Due to rapid company growth this is a new position being created.

D & K Products is a Wholesale Supplier of Turf Care Products to golf courses, lawn care companies and sports fields in Iowa, Nebraska and Western Illinois. The applicant must have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the desire to service the turf industry. A good driving record is required; the position will require the applicant to obtain a Class B CDL driver's license with Air Brake endorsement to help with local deliveries.

Duties:

This position consists of driving to customer locations, loading and unloading of freight, loading customer pickups, delivering palletized product using a straight truck with a burro forklift, delivering and hand unloading from a ton pickup truck and warehouse organization. The applicant must have the ability to operate a forklift. Deliveries are made within 120-mile radius of Des Moines, No overnight travel.

Education Requirements

: High School Education required; 2-year college degree preferred but not necessary.

Physical Requirements

: Must be able to lift and carry up to 70-lbs.

Other Requirements:

Good customer service and organizational skills. Adhere to all Department of Transportation rules and regulations.

Starting wage

: $ 28.00 - $ 30.00 per hour, 40 hours per week. Weekends off.
