What you'll do

Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload shipments, ensuring all items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide outstanding customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations. Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating your driving expertise. Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline loading processes and enhance efficiency.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, showcasing your driving skills and reliability.

Preferred qualifications

Strong customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for every client. Experience working in a warehouse environment, understanding logistics and inventory management. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed during deliveries. Forklift certification is a plus, along with experience using pallet jacks.
