Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all driving and delivery tasks.

Duties

Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transit. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required, utilizing appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during the route. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is essential. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Customer service skills are crucial for effective communication with clients. Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics and product handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is advantageous.
