We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver Assistant to join our logistics team. In this role, you will support the delivery process by assisting with loading, unloading, and eventually route driving to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and experience with warehouse operations. Assist the delivery driver with loading, unloading goods and weighing them in on spreadsheets. Support route driving by helping to organize and prepare delivery loads Load cargo securely in a commercial vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution Help navigate routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally with clients Assist in maintaining accurate delivery documentation and inventory records Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages, ensuring safe moving practices Support warehouse activities including washing, drying and folding items. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and equipment use Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve operational workflows
Qualifications:

Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services preferred Proven ability in customer service roles with strong communication skills Experience operating commercial vehicles with manual transmission Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
