Delivery Driver
The pharmaceutical delivery driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products to various healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and patients. They are responsible for handling medications with care, maintaining proper documentation, and providing excellent customer service. The pharmaceutical delivery driver must adhere to all transportation regulations and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper storage and organization of products.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, including documenting delivery times, quantities, and recipient signatures.
Report any discrepancies, delivery issues, or customer concerns to the delivery manager/supervisor.
Provide exceptional customer service while delivering pharmaceutical products, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving delivery-related issues.
Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding confidentiality and patient privacy.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall vehicle condition.
Follow security procedures to prevent theft, loss, or tampering of pharmaceutical deliveries.
They maintain an orderly work environment by keeping the pharmacy, warehouse, break rooms and bathrooms stocked and clean.
Maintain clean vehicle interior
Delivery Drivers work with a variety of healthcare personnel on a daily basis, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses and other faculty and must develop a professional relationship. Drivers work directly with PIC to ensure deliveries of medications adhere to the regulations and time schedules.
Newly hired Drivers must submit a copy of their driver's license as well as driving record before working as a driver for MJRX to prove that you are capable of driving a vehicle in the state of New Mexico. Within the first 10 days of working, the new driver will be trained on the delivery software, shown the workflow and learn the company's policy of driving a company vehicle. All drivers are subject to a drug test before or during their time as an employee for MJRX, LLC, post-accident testing, and reasonable suspicion testing.
Drivers report directly to the PIC or logistics manager of the pharmacy.
