Delivery Assistant

If you are looking to obtain your CDL-Class A license, this job is for you! We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Assistant to join our team in Athens, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the delivery driver in delivering beverages to retail accounts in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Assist the delivery driver in unloading products from the delivery vehicle Daily verify delivery load with company load sheet Ensure that all products are properly secured and protected during transportation Assist the delivery driver in navigating to the delivery location using GPS or other navigation tools Provide excellent customer service by delivering the company products to retail stores in a friendly and professional manner Stack retail accounts shelves with company products daily Report any delivery issues or concerns to the delivery driver or supervisor Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle Perform other duties as assigned by the delivery driver or supervisor Ensure compliance with all company/retailer policies and procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent prefer Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and goods Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work during holidays Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Permit

Physical Requirements

:
Prolonged periods of walking and driving. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
