$2,000.00 Hiring bonus contingent on being in the position for 1 year and passing their one year evaluation.

Down to Earth Organic & Natural has an opening for a Deli Manager position in our Deli department at our Kahului store. Willingness to learn and support and promote a healthy lifestyle is essential.

The Kahului Deli Manager is responsible for helping oversee, manage, and direct the Deli team members, and helping to develop and improve the Kahului Deli, and providing quality food service to customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
1. At least two years of experience in food service, with two years in a previous supervisory or management position, preferably running a restaurant or deli.
2. NRA Safe Serve certified or willing to attain within one year of being in the position.
3. Knowledge of sanitary food handling and preparation techniques.
4. Supervisory experience - hiring, training, evaluating, directing, motivating.
5. Knowledge of products and trends in the natural foods and conventional foodservice industry.
6. Ability to read and analyze financial statements.
7. Ability to handle multiple demands and follow through on commitments.
8. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of stakeholders including team members, suppliers, customers, and management.
9. Friendly, courteous manner in dealing with a variety of situations and personalities.
10. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Competitive Pay: $1,500 to $2,012.50 per week Starting at $1,500/wk, with growth opportunities up to $2,012.50/wk
