Deli Clerk
Location: Brookings McKay's Market
1. Checking and separating assorted freight loads and stocking shelves.
2. Facing and cleaning the department
3. Prep and prepare hot and cold food items for sale using portion control and measuring standards.
4. Knowledge of proper storage and service of hot and cold items
5. Maintain a pleasant and cheerful demeanor while working with fellow employees
Equipment use:
1. Meat slicer
2. Oven
3. Dishwasher
4. Convention or bakery ovens
5. Fryer
6. Food processor
7. Small wares
Certifications:
Food Handlers, must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire
Work environment:
Indoor setting in a hot or cold environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 45 lbs.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, crawl, walk, climb stairs and ladders, use arms and hands for 6+ hours a day. Lifting at times above the head.
