We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deli Bakery Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling food service environment. The Deli Bakery Supervisor will play a key role in managing inventory, training team members, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the deli and bakery team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and minimizing waste.
Train new staff members on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all food handling activities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli and bakery areas.
Assist in menu planning, product development, and maintaining product quality.
Supervise shift management to ensure smooth operations during scheduled hours.
Collaborate with management on budgeting, staffing schedules, and operational improvements.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Experience
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated skills in inventory control, cash handling, and food safety protocols.
Previous deli or bakery roles within hospitality management or restaurant management are highly desirable.
Background in culinary arts or fine dining experience is a plus.
Experience with staff training, team management, interviewing, and development is essential.
