Job Overview

As a Deli Associate Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading our deli team to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food products. You'll inspire your team to create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Your culinary expertise and leadership will drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain the overall efficiency of the deli operations.

What you'll do

Supervise daily deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques, customer service, and sales strategies. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimizing waste. Utilize Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for efficient transaction processing and reporting. Engage with customers to promote products, upsell items, and enhance their overall shopping experience. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash register. Collaborate with management to develop promotional strategies that drive deli sales and customer engagement. Monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to foster a positive work environment.

Basic qualifications

Experience in food handling and preparation within a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment.

Preferred qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in the food industry or retail setting. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
