Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Deli Associate to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing fresh deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, and food safety protocols, with a strong focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in cooking, quick service, fast food restaurants, or grocery stores is a plus. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble deli products according to company standards, including slicing meats, cheeses, and cooking in a commercial kitchen Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly in compliance with food safety regulations Restock deli items as needed to ensure product availability throughout shifts Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, sanitation, and rotation of products Support other team members with cleaning duties as required in the cafe or retail environment Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality

Experience

Prior experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is essential Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants will be beneficial for managing high-volume periods efficiently Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products and enhance sales through friendly interactions Previous roles involving serving and kitchen experience are highly desirable for this position
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
