Job Summary

The Dean of Instruction plays a vital role in shaping a school environment that is joyful, rigorous, and inclusive. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in every classroom, promoting teacher growth, and maintaining an engaging learning environment that prepares all students for college and their future contributions to the common good. Acting as an expert in the instructional field, the Dean of Instruction provides leadership in curriculum design, instruction, coaching, and professional development to drive student achievement while promoting a deep culture of belief in students. The Dean of Instruction helps staff and students recognize their potential, build confidence in their abilities, and develop the mindset necessary to succeed in rigorous academic settings through high expectations, affirming relationships, and a commitment to equity.

Starting Salary Range

$65,000 - $87,501
