Job Description

Role Summary



The Accounting Systems Specialist supports the setup, configuration, and onboarding of accounting software that integrates with Flyntlok. This role bridges accounting knowledge and software implementation to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient adoption by clients or internal teams.

You will collaborate internally with software developers and implementation project managers to onboard clients. Externally you will work with managers and accountants at the dealership to ensure data integrity, system accuracy, customer training, and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Software Implementation & Setup



o Assist with the configuration and deployment of QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct.

o Coordinate data migration (open A/P, open A/R, customer lists, vendor lists, etc.) from legacy systems or existing accounting software.

o Customize account mappings, chart of accounts, and reporting structures as needed.

o Consult on best practices for Chart of Accounts configuration and reconciliations based on how Flyntlok generates transactions.

Customer Onboarding



o Build project plan to onboard the client in the same timeframe as the Flyntlok implementation.

o Guide new clients through onboarding and training of Flyntlok and the accounting system.

o Conduct walkthroughs, demos, and Q&A sessions on system use.

o Provide documentation and support for initial setup and best practices.

o Maintain clear records of system setups, customizations, and client configurations.

o Contribute to user guides, onboarding checklists, and internal documentation.

Accounting Integration



o Ensure accurate synchronization between Flyntlok and accounting software.

o Validate financial data (GL, AR/AP, inventory, sales, etc.) pre- and post-integration.

o Work with developers and consultants to troubleshoot integration issues and verify resolutions.

Support & Continuous Improvement



o Serve as the advanced tier support of accounting related questions and issues both for internal and external inquiries.

o Identify process improvements or automation opportunities for the Flyntlok integrations.

o Stay up to date with accounting system changes and features.

o Collaborate with QA, dev, and product teams to enhance accounting-related features.

o Continue to refine customer onboarding experience and simplifying the process both for the customer and internal workflows.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Business, or related field

(or equivalent experience).

2-4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.

Familiarity with

accounting principles (GAAP)

and financial reporting.

Experience with

accounting software

(QuickBooks Online and/or Sage Intacct) preferred.

Experience with

ERP or dealership management systems

a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to train non-technical users.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with customer deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
