Hope and Grace is a new (3 years) and growing, dynamic Day Treatment for Adults (DTA) program founded by a passionate group of parents and educators. Located in Chandler, AZ, we specialize in working with adults with developmental and physical disabilities. With an average of 12-14 members daily, we pride ourselves on maintaining a small, focused environment that delivers truly individualized care and support.

Our mission is to build life skills, independence, and community integration through fun, active, and meaningful experiences.

What We're Looking For:

We're hiring an

adventurous, high-energy, motivated, and compassionate Direct Care Worker

who is fun, reliable, and deeply committed to helping adults with disabilities thrive. Experience as assistant Supervisor or Supervisor in DTA program is preferred and will generate higher pay scale.

Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on support with personal hygiene, meal prep, and medication reminders Accompany and engage with members during community outings and on-site activities Implement behavior and skill-building strategies tailored to each individual Support daily living and vocational skill development Maintain accurate documentation (progress notes, incident reports, medication logs, etc.) Ensure a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all participants Drive members to and from the center and on outings (using a company vehicle or personal vehicle with mileage allowance)

Requirements:

Passion and patience for working with adults with developmental and physical disabilities Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and meet state requirements Basic knowledge of conditions such as Autism, Down Syndrome, MS, Epilepsy, etc. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and first aid is a plus Previous experience in DTA or direct care roles preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
