We are seeking an
experienced Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator
to support mission-critical systems and ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability in a global, high-demand environment.The position offers a
hybrid schedule
requiring3-4 days onsite
weekly at the Jersey City, NJ office (Boston, MA may also be considered).Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize
DB2 databases on z/OS
. UtilizeIBM DB2 tools
for system management and troubleshooting. PerformDB2 monitoring and tuning
to support application development. Conductdatabase backup and recovery
operations. Usediagnostic tools
for performance and root cause analysis. Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to ensure seamless database operations.Qualifications
6+ years
of experience as aMainframe DB2 Database Administrator
. Strong knowledge ofDB2 tools, architecture, and performance tuning
. Experience withbackup/recovery processes
anddiagnostic utilities
. Ability to thrive in afast-paced, global enterprise environment
. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. --No sponsorship available
