We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. This position will be daytime, typically starting mid-morning and ending early to mid-afternoon. This person will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements efficiently.
Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
Assist in managing reservations and coordinating with the serving staff to ensure timely service.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
Skills
Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with a background in food service or restaurant environments.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Experience in hospitality or hotel services can enhance guest relations capabilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
