We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Daycare Van Driver to transport children safely to and from our daycare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a passion for working with children. This role requires effective communication with parents and staff, ensuring that all transportation needs are met with care and professionalism.

Duties

Safely transport children to and from daycare, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding pick-up and drop-off times, as well as any changes in schedules. Assist children in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times. Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service to parents, staff, and children during transportation.

Skills

Experience in shuttle driving or delivery driving is preferred. Familiarity with bus driving or paratransit services is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is beneficial for ensuring operational readiness of the van.
