We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Daycare Teacher will work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the safety and well-being of all children while fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and interests. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and effective classroom management techniques. Assist with diapering, feeding, and other basic care needs for infants and toddlers. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere focused on the children's best interests. Stay informed about child development trends and best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred, including babysitting or caregiving roles. Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, special education, or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential. A passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development is required.
