As a Daycare Assistant Director, you will work from 630am to 230pm everyday five days a week, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the growth of young children in a safe and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and thrive. You will work closely with lead teachers to implement educational activities and provide individualized care to meet the diverse needs of each child.
What you'll do
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning.
Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Support children with special needs by utilizing effective behavior management techniques and adapting activities as necessary.
Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction, creativity, and exploration among children.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Basic qualifications
Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development stages.
First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in your care.
Preferred qualifications
Background in special education or experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning environment.
Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter can be beneficial in understanding children's needs.
