Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team. As a Day Program Staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for these individuals, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. The schedule would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from either 9-1pm, or from 10-2pm, or 11-3pm.

Responsibilities:

Transport individuals into the community and do activities with them that they like to do as well as activities to help them reach their goals. Administering medication if necessary during the day program hours.

Requirements:

Background Check, Finger Prints, First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers Permit, Driving Record, Car Insurance, and Own vehicle for transportation.

Skills

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response protocols. Ability to provide compassionate care. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people. Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to fostering a positive experience for all participants.
