Day Porter - Downtown Anchorage

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.50 per hour

Q-1 Services is a leading commercial cleaning company providing exceptional cleaning services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the Greater Anchorage area. We are committed to creating long-term career opportunities for our employees and are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Day Porter to join our team in Downtown Anchorage. This position involves maintaining professional office and common areas in a busy downtown building. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, communicate effectively with building tenants, and uphold Q-1's high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday Full-time, 8-hour shift (daytime hours)

Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, walls, and surfaces. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper. Remove trash and recycling materials. Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and lobbies. Wipe glass doors, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and maintain entryways. Communicate with supervisors and building management to ensure cleaning needs are met. Follow all safety and health regulations and company procedures. This is not a collective list of responsibilities - other tasks may apply that are not listed.

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to work independently and efficiently throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Physical ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies. Professional appearance and communication (English required). Reliable transportation to and from downtown Anchorage. Must be able to pass a background check.
