Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial and residential properties. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Execute janitorial duties in both commercial and residential environments, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including the maintenance of equipment and facilities. Provide porter services by managing waste disposal and replenishing supplies in restrooms and break rooms. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is highly preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous. Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance will be considered a plus. Knowledge of residential painting or general maintenance tasks is beneficial but not required. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential for success in this role. Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
