The Database Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of data structures and reports. This position also requires timely and thorough troubleshooting and documentation.
Data Access and Reporting
+ Design, develop, and update reports as well as perform ad-hoc reporting for business units
+ Verify the accuracy of data contained in reports working with the business when needed to do so
+ Work with a development team in order to create or update data queries, views, etc. to capture, store, and present data as required
Data Structure and Database Design
+ Design and develop data models and schemas to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of data in order to support Credit Union initiatives
+ Design and develop solutions (e.g., ETL processes) for integrating data across multiple platforms
+ Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing data solutions
Data Maintenance
+ Drive process improvement and data consolidation
+ Analyze and confirm the integrity of source data and when necessary facilitate data clean-up efforts
+ Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide appropriate response times to front-end users

+ Take ownership of personal development by participating in ongoing training, seeking feedback, and building knowledge and skills relevant to role, department, compliance, and credit union's mission.
