Work Environment
This is a hybrid-eligible position, where Monday through Wednesday would be working in one of our offices, with Thursday and Friday eligible for work-from-home days. Office locations include: Reno (NV), Monterey (CA).
Job Overview
Capital Insurance Group is seeking a candidate to join our Actuarial & Analytics Department. We look to partner with a candidate who fits with the CIG culture, excels as a decision enabler, and can effectively collect and communicate results to key stakeholders. This person will help shape the Actuarial & Analytics department, driving strategy and analytics objectives.
Requirements
Possesses a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative or scientific field
7+ years of experience required. Special consideration will be given to candidates with advanced machine learning experience
Experience creating and completing end to end analyses or modeling projects
Background in statistics
Demonstrated ability to implement findings from predictive modeling analyses
Extensive experience using SQL and a comprehensive understanding of relational databases is required
Advanced knowledge of Python, R, or another object-oriented statistical language
Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
A valid driver's license may be required.

Salary Range:
$90,401-$149,161
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
