Provide oversight and strategic direction for CDC PHIG-funded Data Modernization initiatives, including website modernization, licensing and certification systems, immunization system interoperability, and public health lab ETOR enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee planning, timelines, and coordination of data modernization projects Support project leaders during implementation phases Communicate effectively with agency stakeholders to ensure goals and deadlines are met Assist in building and managing project support teams as needed Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with data and IT security standards
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience managing complex data modernization or data management projects Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills Knowledge of data security standards for protected health information (PHI) Working knowledge of data management, analytics, and visualization tools Experience working with data/IT vendors Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Office 365
Preferred:
Experience with government or public health IT projects * Familiarity with federal grant management and reporting
