The Data Modernization Director will oversee projects funded under a
public health infrastructure grant
, specifically focused ondata modernization
. Projects include:Modernization of the agency website Implementation of a new
licensing and certification database
Improvedinteroperability
for immunization information systemsElectronic test orders
and results (ETOR) enhancement for state health laboratoriesThe Director will assist with
project timelines
, provide general oversight, and support project leaders as needed. They will ensure effective communication with project teams and help maintain focus on project goals and deadlines.Required Skills:
Experience overseeing
multi-faceted data management
and/ormodernization projects
Strongcommunication skills
with team members involved in data collection, management, and development Knowledge ofdata and IT security standards
, especially for protected health information (PHI) Experience withdata management, visualization, and analysis tools
Familiarity withmodern data management
andanalysis software systems
and vendorsPreferred Skills:
Experience with
government entities
on data or IT projects, especially procurement or purchasing Experience withfederal grant reporting
and managementPay: $95.00 - $101.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
