Overview:
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Data Insights Analyst. Primary Function: will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that will drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean and analyze complex datasets from various credit union and other related resources to identify trends and patterns.
Develop, maintain and optimize dashboards and reports using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar platforms.
Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
Work directly with key stakeholders to understand their data needs, gather requirements and translate them into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
Perform ad hoc data analysis to support member segmentation, financial performance and risk assessments.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by validating data sources and implementing quality control measures.
Assist in the automation of reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics required.
Minimum 3 Years Experience in mining data as a data analyst required.
