Overview

We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and detail-oriented Data Equipment assembly Technician to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in assembly. This candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process of our security monitoring camera boxes, ensuring that products are built accurately and efficiently. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable working independently and can manage tasks and weekly production goals. This role also involves light computer use and shipping-related responsibilities as well as a strong focus on safety and quality.

Duties

Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards. Accurately pick, assemble and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished goods. Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with Operations team members to optimize workflow schedules. Conduct regular inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards. Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during assembly. Operate basic computer systems for tracking, inventory and shipping. Follow established protocols and safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in assembly, a distribution center or warehouse environment role is required. Familiarity with order picking, packing processes, and materials handling techniques. Basic computer skills (email, label printing, simple data entry, inventory). Ability to operate forklifts and cherry pickers safely; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during assembly tasks. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently independently minimal supervision. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment. Familiarity with shipping procedures (UPS, FedEx), a plus. Good physical condition; able to lift up to 50-75 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail and reliability.
