Job Description

The Data Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our team and data entry processes. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and hands-on experience in the cannabis industry. This position is responsible for maintaining complete and accurate data in our information systems (including LeafLink, Metrc, Infoplus and Monday.com). The Data Tech contributes significantly to our ability to sell products, invoice our customers and assists with the maintenance and upkeep of hardcopy records.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




Transfers data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards and scanners. Ensures all relevant systems are updated with accurate data in a timely manner Ensures invoices are prepared within 24 hours of product delivery Assists with maintenance of new and former employees in Metrc Researches and responds to accountability emails and batch issues Assists with updating data issues identified during audits Compiles and enters 3rd party test results for products including concentrates, vapes, gummies and flower. Organizes and files paperwork after entering data to ensure it is easily accessible. Performs other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and able to obtain a State Marijuana Agent Card 1+ years data entry experience Fast typing skills: knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred Working knowledge of LeafLink, Metrc, Infoplus and Monday.com Working knowledge of work processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office, Work, Excel) Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices Basic understanding of databases Great attention to detail Ability to work independently and have excellent attendance Ability to work overtime hours and on-call shifts, as needed High School Diploma or GED preferred Sitting 8+ hours each shift including occasional bending and squatting
