Job Description

The Data Entry / Bookkeeper will have primary day-to-day responsibility for preparing deposits, data entry, paying bills, assisting CEO & COO with all financial-related activities/questions of the company.

Qualifications:

One to five years of bookkeeping experience & valid Driver's License that is insurable on company's auto insurance. Must have working knowledge of finance and accounting software; a working knowledge of computers and the internet; must comply with GAAP Standards; have the ability to be detail-oriented, good in analysis and logical thinking.

Duties:

A.

Assisting with all aspects of finance & accounting functions of the organization to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll and preparation of monthly financial statements

B.

Weekly preparation of deposits and balancing of register and petty cash

C.

Attend monthly board meeting and periodical reporting to board of directors, as needed

D.

Accounts payable to include data entry and proper allocation of expenditures

E.

Accounts receivable to include invoicing of major grants and special reporting for government funding and reimbursements.

F.

Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, budget adjustments and analysis

G.

Maintain federal, state, employee, vendor, grants, deposits and bank records

H.

Assist with overseeing annual audit

I.

Participate in staff related functions

J.

Engage in organizational goal setting, procedural adjustments, and tasks with the accountant

K.
