Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (Hybrid)

Pay rate: $25-$26 an hour based on year in school (Juniors and Seniors)

10 week assignment starting in late May 2026

Summer Internship - Pricing Data Engineering

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Summer Intern to join our Pricing Analytics & Solutions team. As part of our Global Pricing Team, you will contribute to building data solutions that power our pricing analytics capabilities.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated summer intern to develop data pipelines and scalable solutions for pricing analytics. You will work on data modeling, pipeline development, and automation while tackling complex business problems and gaining hands-on experience in enterprise data engineering. The role is hybrid from our St. Louis office.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build data pipelines using Palantir Foundry (Python/PySpark).

Optimize data queries and pipeline performance for large-scale pricing datasets.

Implement data quality checks and validation frameworks.

Automate data workflows and processes.

Create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau.

Collaborate with analytics team members to deliver technical solutions.

Communicate technical concepts and insights to cross-functional stakeholders.

Present your summer project to the team at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

:

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Strong Python skills (required); PySpark experience is a plus. Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts. Experience with or interest in Tableau. Strong communication skills and ability to tell compelling data stories. Willingness to tackle complex, ambiguous problems. Interest in AI/ML applications is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a growth-oriented mindset.
