Job Description
Circles of Troup County exists to identify and eliminate the causes of poverty and support those wishing to lift themselves out of poverty. We use a relational strategy to support both parents and children moving out of poverty while inspiring and equipping the community to reduce its poverty rate. The proposed VISTA project aligns with the economic opportunity focus area. The VISTA project will build sustainability through developing and maintaining data for national database, and contribute to volunteer support and recruitment. The VISTA project expects to benefit 100-150 circles participants, including children, as well as at least 500 community members through poverty education and awareness.
Member Duties :
The proposed VISTA project aligns with the economic opportunity focus area. The VISTA project will build sustainability through volunteer support and recruitment, data support, expanding the presence of Circles in our community and educating the community about issues related to poverty. The VISTA project expects to benefit an additional 100-150 circles participants, including children, as well as at least 500 community members through poverty education and awareness. Two VISTA members will contribute to the goals of the project by promoting Circles programs through marketing and public relations initiatives, grant-writing and fundraising, volunteer recruitment and training and community outreach to increase Circles partnerships.Program Benefits :
