Job Summary:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy
Data Collection Agent
to join our Support team. In this role, you'll ensure that client copiers and printers are properly communicating with our monitoring software and that data collection processes run smoothly. You'll play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, resolving technical issues, and providing proactive support that keeps our clients connected and confident.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and supporting technology systems in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
Primary Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Data Collection Software (DCS) via remote support.
Ensure client copiers and multifunction devices are actively reporting to monitoring software.
Monitor device data communication and proactively contact clients when issues are detected.
Provide high-touch communication and follow-up with key accounts regarding device or software monitoring status.
Support the Remote Support team by triaging connectivity and print-related issues when needed.
Document client interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in internal systems.
Collaborate with other technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
Understanding of basic computer networking principles (e.g., IP addresses, connectivity, firewalls).
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
