AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Security Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.



Key job responsibilities

Deliver Results

Oversee contract security staff and daily operations

Manage data center security

Coordinate with security vendors

Maintain availability for emergency response

Monitor and ensure functionality of security systems

Ownership

Drive continuous improvement through KPIs and improvement plans

Ensure proper protocol adherence by all personnel

Oversee access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems

Manage facility access badge issuance

Maintain security equipment through regular inspections

Implement preventative maintenance programs

Bias for Action

Investigate security incidents and provide notifications

Involvement in emergency response plans and evacuation procedures

Develop relationships with law enforcement and emergency services

Customer Obsession

Generate security incident reports

Prepare and deliver presentations to business partners

Support internal security evaluations

Ensure compliance with corporate security standards

Earn Trust

Identify security-related opportunities

Develop innovative security solutions

Ensure professional security interactions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience using CCTV, access control and intrusion systems 6+ months' experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment. Knowledge of the administration and operation of: access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

----------------------------

College Degree (Bachelors) or Background in one or more of: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Special Operations Forces), Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority (Police Academy Graduate), TSA Security Screening, Correctional Facility Officer 2+ years Security experience or equivalent (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education) 1+ year Leadership experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
