The Data Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-level data analysis tools with Citi Data Standards and roadmaps.
• Analyze existing data systems and propose improvements for scalability , performance and sustainability.
• Collaborate with Data Team to understand the exiting flow and prepare data analysis tool/solution.
• Work in conjunction with information owners and technology partners to define and implement the roadmap.
• Prepare materials as necessary for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), Portfolio Reviews, Horizontal meetings, Town Halls and Staff Meetings.
• Perform analysis of data quality issues and deliver metrics reporting.
• Develop Python scripts to automate tasks, processes and workflows.
• Perform data analysis/testing. Identify automation scopes and develop diff tools for variance and triage reporting.
• Build and maintain integration with API's , databases and other services.
• Identify Gap and Optimize the current system.
• Create document for scripts/process and tools.
• Work on Financial data Analysis and testing projects with Business stakeholders.
• Execute requirement analysis with collaboration with Business partners, BA's, PM, Test Leads.
• Perform Data Analysis and testing. Prepare test scenarios and results and engage with business stakeholders to implement various projects.
• Support Managers with status reports and presentation content. Guide data analysis and reporting processes that include collection from multiple sources, validation of data and assembly and presentation of required data.
• Analyze current finance and risk processes and systems.
• Identify variance / gaps in the current data and the approach to achieve alignment.
• Review proposed changes or additions to the defined data architecture.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years experience in analyzing and defining financial risk management data
• Hands on Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL, SybaseIQ , Oracle)
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience writing scripts for automation, data analysis, data manipulation , data testing.
• Understanding the current data structures and system.
• Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management
• Analytical, flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal/communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong Data Analysis skills.
• Good knowledge and working experience on Financial products like FX. Forward, Spot etc.
• Proficient with concept of Basel accords.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
