The Data Analyst - Strategic Sourcing is responsible for driving data-informed sourcing and procurement decisions through advanced analysis, modeling, and insight generation. This role serves as the primary analytical partner to sourcing, supply chain, and finance leaders by transforming complex and disconnected procurement data into actionable insights that influence vendor strategy, contract decisions, and large-scale purchasing initiatives.





This position requires a high degree of independence and analytical judgment, including the ability to extract, normalize, and analyze data from multiple systems and formats. The analyst will design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and analytical frameworks that support strategic sourcing decisions, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across six clinic locations.





Key responsibilities include:


Independently pulling, consolidating, and normalizing procurement and vendor data from multiple software platforms, manual exports, disconnected systems, and spreadsheets Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, analytical models, and trackers using Excel, Power BI, or similar toolsAnalyzing spend patterns, vendor performance, pricing variability, and contract utilization to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing risks



Developing data-backed recommendations to support vendor selection, contract negotiations, renewals, and large-scale purchasing decisionsPartnering with sourcing, finance, and operations leaders to align procurement strategy with budgetary, operational, and growth objectivesSupporting large-scale purchases (e.g., equipment, furniture, clinic expansions) through scenario analysis, cost modeling, and comparative vendor analysisConducting ongoing vendor performance and compliance analysis using quantitative metrics and trend analysisEstablishing and maintaining standardized analytical documentation, data definitions, and reporting methodologies to improve consistency and scalabilityServing as a subject matter expert on procurement and sourcing data, providing insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in data analysis roles supporting sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or similar data- and reporting-heavy functions Strong working knowledge of Power BI or equivalent dashboard and visualization tools Ability to independently gather data from multiple disconnected systems (manual exports, CSVs, etc.) Ability to work with large, messy, or disconnected datasets and produce reliable analytical outputs Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to move beyond reporting to insight and recommendation Excellent communication skills, especially when presenting data to non-technical stakeholders Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of projects without pre-built processes or reports Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple analytical priorities simultaneously Experience in healthcare or multi-site environments is a plus Familiarity with procurement platforms, ERP systems, and exporting data into Excel or BI tools



Certifications/Licenses/Education/or Experience in a related field:


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3-5 years in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or vendor management. Experience in healthcare or multi-site organizations preferred. Strong Excel skills and comfort with procurement software/tools.



Physical Requirements:

+ Sitting for prolonged periods of time at a desk. + Computer use that requires visual acuity, typing, use of mouse/keyboard, and staring at a screen for extended periods of time.
+ Occasionally lifting objects of up to 25 pounds such as files, office supplies, assisting patients when needed, etc.
+ Walking and standing for continuous periods around the office or clinic as needed.
+ Fine motor skills for tasks like typing, writing, handling small objects or equipment and materials.
+ Adequate mobility for daily interactions, delivering packages throughout the clinic daily, and traveling between company locations as needed.
