Job Duties
Process Soldier records for suitability in Positions of Significant Trust and Authority (POSTA)
Screen an average 200 packets per week and review discrepancies or criteria violations found in Soldier personnel records shall be reported within 24 hours to the government POC
Submit daily logs of all completed POSTA actions to the government
Coordinate and track information with Department of the Army Inspector General's Office for suitability screening, and the DA Criminal Investigation Division (CID) for criminal screening verification
Document all communication with DA IG and CID in weekly summary IAW HRP SOP; Draft memorandum IAW HRP SOP; Return RFI and policy change requests within 24 hours of request; and Document coordination IAW HRP SOP in monthly summary. Provide quality control for adverse actions and derogatory information to ensure the applicant has no adverse information in their personnel record
Make annotations and corrections IAW ALARACT 147-2013, Army Directive 2018-16, Single Nomination 15-2017
Monitor in eTracker application for Soldiers identified for FEDREC withdrawal and notify the 54 states and territories IAW the SOP
Draft memorandum IAW HRP SOP within 24 hours of board completion; and
review and process each case within 48 hours of receipt (board results)
Review and screen suitability criteria for Promotions and attendance at military schools IAW the SOP
Screen an average of 30 Warrant Officer packets weekly for suitability
Screen an average of five (5) Senior Non-Commissioned Officer packets monthly for suitability and log actions and update eTracker of processes packets
Monitor in eTracker applications for officers that are DA Non-Selected (Show-Cause) IAW the SOP
Conduct the review IAW HRP SOP and ALARACT 147-2013; notifications shall comply with CNGBM
Monitor approximately 10 Show-Cause' boards per year. On average, process eight (8) cases of determination per month IAW HRP SOP.
Track and report status for packets sent to Promotion Review Panel after being removed from Unit Vacancy Promotion Scroll attendance IAW the SOP
Respond to state and territory personnel offices within 24 hours of inquiries.
Log outstanding cases daily and provide a weekly compilation the last business day of each week IAW HRP SOP
Review and process an average of 60 cases per year; screen and verify packet information IAW HRP SOP checklist
Provide monthly and weekly cumulative reports
Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years of experience
Prior experience in the Army or National Guard
Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
