Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children, our Petit and Tiny Stars Classes. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote developmental milestones, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with daily dance classroom activities and educational routines Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through attentive caregiving and interaction Supervise children during transition of classes Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and cooperation among students

Skills

Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a positive learning atmosphere Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and caregivers First aid certification and knowledge of basic health and safety procedures is a bonus Compassionate caregiving skills for toddlers and preschool-aged children

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 per hour
