Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor to take over a few dance classes at our Ocean County dance studio. We are looking for someone available for Monday and Tuesday evenings. Students range in age from 8-18.
In this role, you will design engaging dance recital choreography, lead dynamic classes, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence.
Duties
Develop comprehensive dance recital choreography tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Lead lively, well-structured dance classes that motivate students to improve their technique and express themselves confidently Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners Plan and organize performances or showcases that highlight student progress and celebrate their achievements Maintain detailed lesson plans and attendance records Proven experience in teaching dance styles with a strong emphasis on classroom management and lesson planning Experience developing curriculum content that includes choreography, movement techniques, and performance preparation Familiarity with behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
