Flexologist

StretchLab of East Setauket is seeking personal trainers, massage therapists, and dance/yoga/Pilates Instructors to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.

We Are Offering

\xc2\xb7 Compensation - $21 to $26 per hour when actively working with clients

\xc2\xb7 Commissions paid for actively being involved w/ membership acquisition

\xc2\xb7 4 hour and 8 hour shifts

\xc2\xb7 Full Time Employment \xe2\x80\x93 30 to 40 hrs. per week

\xc2\xb7 Part Time Employment \xe2\x80\x93 16 hrs. per week minimum

\xc2\xb7 100 hrs. Comprehensive Training Program (classroom & hands on)

\xc2\xb7 Ongoing training and support

With Co-Founders coming from the Personal Training industry, Stretch Lab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to \xe2\x80\x98Live Long\xe2\x80\x99. StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields including physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more. StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals. StretchLab\xe2\x80\x99s proprietary flexologist \xe2\x84\xa2 training ensures that their client\xe2\x80\x99s receive a world class stretching session.

Position: Our Flexologists will provide one-on-one assisted stretches as well as lead guided group stretching classes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

\xe2\x97\x8f Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes

\xe2\x97\x8f Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions

\xe2\x97\x8f Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele

\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules

\xe2\x97\x8f Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations

\xe2\x97\x8f Handle member concerns when applicable

\xe2\x97\x8f Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention

\xe2\x97\x8f Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time

Requirements:

\xe2\x97\x8f Love of boutique fitness environment is a must \xe2\x80\x93 passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility

\xe2\x97\x8f Certification or State Licensure in any of the following fields:

o Massage Therapist

o Personal Trainer

o Physical Therapist

o Pilates or Yoga Instructor

o Dance Instructor

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you are providing hands-on training with client

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.

\xe2\x97\x8f Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy.

\xe2\x97\x8f Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals.

\xe2\x97\x8f Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies

\xe2\x97\x8f Must be available to go through our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training
