Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, developing curriculum, and fostering a love for dance among students.

Duties

Design and implement engaging dance lessons that cater to different skill levels and age groups. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students. Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students, incorporating various dance styles and techniques. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence. Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and other events to showcase student progress. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive learning experience across disciplines. Maintain an organized classroom space that promotes creativity and learning.

Experience

Previous experience in dance instruction or related fields such as theater or early childhood education is preferred. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Experience working with children in various capacities such as tutoring, childcare, or educational settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for dance education is a plus. A passion for teaching and sharing the art of dance with others is essential.
