to our team! We are currently seeking instructors to work with both our
recreational and competitive dancers
, and we encourage individuals with a background in dance to start a conversation with us.
We are looking for instructors who specialize in
one style
or multiple styles. Styles may include (but are not limited to):
Ballet
Jazz
Tap
Hip Hop
Lyrical / Contemporary
Musical Theatre
Acro
African Dance
Irish Dance
Other specialty or cultural dance styles
Who Should Apply:
Applicants
must be 18 years of age or older
.
Individuals who have danced previously or
grew up training in a dance studio
.
Dancers who may not yet have formal teaching experience but are interested in becoming a trained and certified instructor.
Experienced teachers and choreographers looking to join a collaborative studio environment.
If you do not have formal teaching experience, you will not be placed into a classroom alone without preparation. We provide structured guidance, training, and mentorship to help you grow into a confident, effective instructor. What You'll Do:
Teach dance classes to students ranging from preschool through high school.
Work with recreational and/or competitive dancers based on your strengths, training, and interests.
Learn and implement our teaching standards, classroom management expectations, and curriculum structure.
Collaborate with the Artistic Director and teaching team to develop lesson plans and choreography.
Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that builds confidence, discipline, and creativity.
Participate in performances, rehearsals, staff meetings, and studio events.
Communicate professionally with parents, students, and staff.
Training & Support:
Instructors without a formal teaching background will receive
training in teaching methods, curriculum development, and classroom structure
.
Opportunities to earn or work toward
certifications and studio-specific teaching styles
.
Ongoing mentorship and collaboration -- this is a
team-based, supportive teaching environment
, not a "figure it out on your own" position.
Schedule & Start Date:
Hiring beginning
as early as the end of May

If available sooner, instructors may be incorporated into our
current season
.
Guaranteed placement within our
2026-2027 school year schedule
, with additional opportunities during summer months.
Classes typically take place weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
Flexible scheduling based on availability and studio needs.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, training, and qualifications.
