We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dairy Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing dairy product displays and ensuring the freshness and quality of our offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for promoting dairy products.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with inquiries about dairy products, providing knowledgeable recommendations and support. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions accurately and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Stock dairy shelves, ensuring products are displayed attractively and rotated for freshness. Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales. Supervise the dairy department during shifts, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations within the department. Maintain cleanliness in the dairy section, adhering to health regulations and company policies. Utilize basic math skills to assist with inventory management and product pricing.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and phone etiquette is advantageous. Experience in supervising staff or leading teams is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse customers is essential. A background in sales or product demonstrations will be beneficial in driving department performance.
