Cycle Counter Lead Needed for a Manufacturing & Distribution Center in Hiram, GA

This client manufactures and distributes package handling systems for the Airline, Warehouse and Parcel industries.

Job Details:

• Monday-Friday OT on Saturdays when needed
• 2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm, Monday - Friday
• $19/hr + based on experience

Job Duties:

Counts and reconciles scheduled counts daily, consolidating any duplicate bins within proceedings.

Leads the cycle counter group and material handlers on the daily tasks.

Conduct Ad-Hoc cycle counts and inventory audits.

Report discrepancies in quantity, location, identification, and incorrect or damaged material. Able to research and reconcile inventory discrepancies, finding the root causes for errors.

Research misplaced or unaccounted products.

Support and communicate with all departments primarily inventory, purchasing, and production.

Impartial, able to explain the findings of investigations to management with the goal of improving daily operations and financial accuracy.

Work with individuals and departments to resolve inventory issues in a timely manner.

Safely operate a forklift, reach truck (narrow aisle), cherry-picker, pallet-jack, wrap machine, and tools to perform tasks.

Maintain current forklift certifications.

Adhere to all safety procedures and policies. Utilizing 5S.

Ability to work at heights and become fall arrest certified.

Organized thought process and high attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable using a PC, experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-year related inventory experience.
• Basic mathematical skills-the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, convert units of measure, convert units of measure, and use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Possess strong communication skills and professional courtesy.
• Leadership skills- the ability to conduct the cycle counter team and material handlers on the daily tasks, activities, and goals.
