Description

The Cybersecurity Network Analyst will perform analysis on construction and diagnostics of computer networks, computer network exploitation, research, digital forensics analysis, report generation, mentoring, exercise support and recommendation of new analysis support technologies. Provides written and oral assessments regarding vulnerability analysis. Assists in the development of new tools, and modifications of existing tools. Performs testing of computer network defense tools to meet operational requirements.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Efficiently and effectively tailor adversary and attack analysis.

Experience with computer network exploitation, construction, and diagnostics of computer networks, network analysis, network threats and risks, incident responses, and database research.

Maintain awareness of applicable computer network exploitation policies, regulations, and compliance documents.

Analyze network packet information, Windows and Linus/Unix OS data, executable file data, host data, and metadata to identify and characterize anomalies on USG networks.

Provide reporting on activities and assist in the development and optimization of new and existing tools and techniques to enhance analytic capabilities.

Provide analytic support at both network and host level to augment the government team charged with identifying and characterizing anomalies on USG networks.

Provide domain expertise in networking hardware and communications technologies, and system programming.

Develop and analyze exploitation tactics, techniques, and procedures for a wide range of operating systems.

Ability to view computer screen continuously for two hours or more.

Work Condition Specific Information

This position is located at the customer site on Fort Meade. Core hours for the program are from 0800-1600.

The Government reserves the right to institute an on-call roster for extended and after-hours technical support.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Must possess active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in software engineering, computer science, engineering or a related field from an accredited university. Four years of experience in intrusion analysis and incident response may be substituted for a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.

Two years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity techniques and network analysis.

Three years of demonstrated experience in intrusion analysis and incident response.

Three years of demonstrated experience with TCP/IP fundamentals, Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems, and supporting Microsoft Office applications.

Demonstrated real world incident management / incident response experience.\xe2\x80\x8b

Pay Range: Pay Range $63,050.00 - $97,000.00 - $130,950.00
