About the Role:
The Cutting Machine Operator on Shift A plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely operating cutting machinery to shape raw materials into finished components according to specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all cuts meet quality standards and production targets. The operator will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining cutting equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Collaboration with quality control and maintenance teams is essential to promptly address any issues and maintain a safe working environment. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating cutting or similar manufacturing machinery.
Basic understanding of machine operation and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in machine operation or manufacturing processes.
Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) cutting machines.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and tools.
Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting minor machine issues.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor cutting machines to produce parts that meet exact specifications and quality standards.
